Experience
Five years experience tutoring jr high, high school and college level math and natural sciences (1993-1998) and four years experience tutoring elementary school (all subjects); junior high and high school levels (AP Math and science) (2009-present). I enjoy tutoring because it allows me to instill in young people a passion for knowledge that can be missed in the classroom. One-on-one tutoring provides the student with many advantages that the 14-1 or 34-1 ratio of most classrooms lack. As a result, more and more young people leave academia with a contempt for learning that I hope to change to a desire for and a passion. I love to learn, and to teach and if I can reach just one young person and instill that same passion in them than I have succeeded.
