Experience

I received my undergraduate degree in anthropology and biological sciences from Radford University. During this time I began tutoring high school students and other college students. I also worked as a teaching assistant for several of my undergraduate classes. I tutor a wide variety of subjects, although my specialty is in mathematics and science. Some of the courses I tutor include anatomy, geography, science, biology, geology, social sciences, chemistry, IB biology, English, organic chemistry, IB chemistry, microbiology, physical chemistry, reading, writing, social and cultural anthropology, phonics, world religions, inorganic chemistry, physical science, American and European history, world religions, anatomy and physiology, and public speaking. I also tutor students to help them prepare for specific tests, including the SAT, ACT, and PSAT. I truly believe education is one of the most important things an individual can invest their time in and I try to convey this to my students by offering them an engaging and effective learning environment. I take the time to get to know my students as well as their learning style, academic strengths, and weakness in order to cultivate a creative and interactive presentation of their learning material that is designed specifically for them and their learning needs.
